Questions we get, answered straight.

Direct answers to the questions procurement, IT leadership, and VAR partners actually ask us.

Anything from a single-site firewall swap to a 100-site wireless rollout. We don’t have a minimum. Our model is built to scale up and down — that’s the point.

No. We’re deliberately platform-agnostic. We design and deliver across Cisco, Meraki, HPE Aruba, Juniper, Ruckus, Extreme, Palo Alto, Fortinet, Check Point, Ubiquiti, and others. We pick the architecture the outcome calls for — not the one that pays us the most.

Yes. Validation and efficacy testing is a full service line. We run interop labs and pre-release product validation for manufacturers, and performance/service-assurance testing for ISPs and carriers. Our value to that audience is specifically that we don’t have a platform we need to make look good.

Yes. Headquarters is Valencia, CA. We deliver nationally across the U.S. and support global rollouts for existing clients. Travel and on-site coverage are built into our engagement model.

Yes — white-label delivery is a core part of our business. We deliver a meaningful percentage of our work under partner flags. See the Partners page for how that works.

Discovery calls within the week. Design documents typically in 1–3 weeks depending on scope. Deployment start times depend on hardware lead times and your change windows — which we plan around, not through.

Yes. Subscription monitoring, break/fix, and lifecycle management are a full service line. Most clients keep us on after delivery in some capacity because the engineer who built it is the fastest path to fixing it.

Our team carries CCIE, CCNP, Palo Alto PCNSE, Meraki CMNO/CMNA, Aruba ACMP, and adjacent security and cloud certifications. We’re happy to share specific certifications relevant to your engagement under NDA.

We can source hardware through our partner distribution relationships, but we’re not a hardware-first VAR. Many clients prefer to procure through their existing VAR relationship and engage us for design and delivery. Both models are fine with us.

A named technical lead from the first call. A scoping session where we document scope, assumptions, and risks. A design package (architecture, BOM, migration plan, validation plan, rollback). A deployment phase with defined checkpoints. A handover package your operations team can actually use.

Yes. WiFi Hotshots is a minority-owned business enterprise, operating as a DBA of LA Wireless LLC. Relevant certifications available on request for procurement requirements.
